PRESIDENT OF THE TYROLEAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VISITS 3CON

On 10.01.2020, Christoph Walser, the president of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, visited 3CON in Ebbs. Several official representatives of the Chamber of Commerce Kufstein and the Ebbs municipality took part in this strategic meeting regarding “Professionals of the Future”. One of the topics discussed in the course of the meeting was the apprenticeship training system in Tirol as well as the new position for an apprenticeship coordinator created by the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce. The objective is to improve the overall image and quality of the apprenticeship system.

The presentation of the comprehensive 3CON building project (including the expansion of the apprenticeship workshop to 250 m² and increase to 40 apprenticeship spaces) included a tour through the assembly halls of the automation expert in Ebbs in which a 3CON apprentice competently explained and demonstrated a system. The 3CON apprenticeship strategy is also designed to incorporate future young technicians into the respective customer projects actively. Both of the 3CON apprenticeship training supervisors ensure the realisation and continuous further development of the apprenticeship system.

During the visit of the apprenticeship workshop, “3CON Brain Factory”, the individual, customised and new apprenticeship concept was presented to the guests. This objective of this concept is to employ, after completion of the apprenticeship, each of the future young technicians (100%) in the selected specialised area as highly qualified staff members in the preferred process team.

3CON is especially proud of the awards “Outstanding Tyrolean Apprenticeship Programme” and “State-certified Apprenticeship Enterprise” which they received in 2019 and affirms the apprenticeship strategy. The many apprenticeship events and the bonus system for academic achievements also emphasise that the apprenticeship for future employees is the highest priority at 3CON.

In the closing discussion, the president of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce demonstrated equal enthusiasm for the innovative capacity and the new and dedicated apprenticeship of the family enterprise in Ebbs.
